We currently act as consultants and project managers for a number of hospitals in the UK both direct to NHS Hospital Trusts and Private Funded Initiative (PFI) Service Providers and SPVs. Our diverse role covers interim estate mangers to design services for refurbishment and change of use projects.
Examples of recent projects range from the design and project management of a new Obstetrics Theatre, the design and project management of a new Midwife Led Unit or acting as clients representative on a new Radiotherapy building costing over £70m. Each project is designed to meet all Healthcare Technical Memorandums (HTM) and other regulatory and statutory standards and in some instance meeting the client’s General Minimum Standards (GMS) which exceed the above.
Other services provided to the healthcare sector are condition surveys using the “NHS ‘Estate-code’ dated 2007 – Land and property 6 facet Survey – Facet 1 physical condition” methodology. Due to the complex nature of healthcare facilities and how they function our staff are internally inducted in how to produce our services to ensure the least disruption to the hospital, this induction is updated as and when new constraints and considerations are identified.
